Assertiveness Rights

You have the right to ask for what I want, realising that the other person has the right to say no). You have the right to have my own opinions, feelings and emotions and to express them appropriately. You have the right  to make statements that have no logical basis, and which I do not have to justify to anyone. (i.e. Intuitive ideas and comments). You have the right to make my own decisions and to deal with the consequences. I have the right to privacy. You have the right to choose whether or not to get involved with other people's problems. You have the right to not know something and not to understand. You have the right to choose to change through personal development.  You have the right to make mistakes without others making me feel guilty. You have the right to express myself without fear of retribution. You have the right to change my mind. I have the right to be alone and independent.

 

You have the right to assert yourself appropiately.
